@ChronoNG While I'm not a "connoisseur" myself, I see the appeal. Seeing a piece of work/art come together (and what was marked out from the very beginning) is interesting and provides some insight into the artistic process - which can differ from artist to artist.
Apparently for some people it also provides satisfaction similar to seeing a skyscraper being built in time lapse. I think the person who told me this said something along the lines of "Seeing something being created by a skilled hand is sometimes more interesting than the end result itself."
